Amazon and Anthropic lock in a decade-long compute deal
Why did Anthropic go all in on AWS?

Hi ,
Amazon just made its biggest AI bet yet.
$5 billion invested in Anthropic today. Up to $20 billion more tied to commercial milestones. That's on top of the $8 billion already committed.
Something significant is happening between these two companies. And it goes way beyond a funding round.
Today's prompt resurrects your old content for free traffic. While Tool Tuesday covers Canva's biggest AI upgrade yet. Then the full story on Amazon and Anthropic's expanded partnership.
π₯ Prompt of the Day π₯
Content Decay Recovery Audit: Use ChatGPT or Claude
Create one old-content revival system.
"Act as an SEO content strategist. Create one content revival framework for [BLOG/WEBSITE] that identifies and updates decaying pages for traffic recovery.
Essential Details:
Site Age: [CONTENT ARCHIVE SIZE]
Traffic Drop: [DECLINE %]
Update Capacity: [PAGES PER MONTH]
SEO Tool Stack: [AVAILABLE DATA]
Priority Metric: [TRAFFIC/CONVERSIONS]
Competitor Movement: [NEW RANKINGS]
Create one revival audit including:
Decay identification criteria
Traffic loss prioritization
Update scope decision tree
Content refresh checklist
Internal linking repair
Re-promotion strategy
Resurrect dead content for free traffic."
Variables:
BLOG/WEBSITE: What site you're working with
CONTENT ARCHIVE SIZE: How old and how large your content library is
DECLINE %: How much traffic has dropped
PAGES PER MONTH: How many pages you can realistically update
AVAILABLE DATA: What SEO tools you have access to
PRIORITY METRIC: Whether you're chasing traffic or conversions
Why This Works:
Most websites are sitting on hundreds of pages that used to rank and stopped. AI identifies which ones are worth saving. Prioritizes by traffic loss and conversion potential. Builds the update scope. Checks internal links. Re-promotes once refreshed. Free traffic from content you already wrote. No new articles needed.

Canva AI 2.0 β Design From a Text Prompt, Automatically
Canva just made their AI assistant dramatically more capable.
Describe what you want. The AI plans the task, calls the right tools, and builds you editable design options.
Canva AI 2.0 launching in research preview this week. Rolling out to all users in the coming weeks.
What's New
The AI assistant now uses layers to build designs β giving you full flexibility to tweak any individual element after it's generated.
Tell it what to make. It calls the required tools automatically. Returns multiple options. You pick and refine.
New Integrations
Slack, Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, and Zoom all connected.
Allow the AI to read your emails, conversations, files, and meeting data to build context before it creates.
Web research skill added β the assistant can browse the internet to inform what it builds.
Scheduling Built In
Tell the AI to schedule repeatable design tasks to run in the background automatically.
Creates a draft for your review before anything posts. Full control stays with you.
Speed and Cost Improvements
Lucid Origin image generation model now 5x faster and 30x cheaper.
12V image-to-video model now 7x faster and 17x cheaper.
Same quality. Dramatically lower compute cost passed through to users.
What Else Got Updated
AI code generator now imports HTML.
Spreadsheet generation from text prompts added.
The Bigger Picture
Canva valued at $42 billion. Enterprise revenue growing 100% year on year. IPO likely next year.
Their co-founder put it simply β businesses start and end their day in Canva. The AI assistant makes that loop tighter.
Works with Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI too. If you run agentic workflows elsewhere you can call Canva to generate assets and pull them back into your stack.
Adobe launched Firefly AI this week. Figma added MCP support last month. Every major design platform is moving the same direction at the same time.
For designers: Automated workflows for repeatable content creation. More time on creative decisions.
For small businesses: Professional design output from a text description. No design skills needed.
For marketing teams: Scheduling, web research, and context from your existing tools all in one place.
What This Means
If you use Canva already, AI 2.0 is worth testing in research preview this week. The scheduling and integration features alone change daily workflow.
If you manage content at scale, the image and video generation speed improvements make AI-assisted visual production significantly more practical.
If you watch the design tool market, three major platforms β Canva, Adobe, Figma β all shipping AI agent capabilities in the same month is not a coincidence. This is the new baseline.
Design just became a conversation.
Check it out πhere.

At Imperial College London, researchers studying antimicrobial resistance found that an AI co-scientist generated the same core hypothesis their human team had taken years to develop β in a matter of days.

Amazon Doubles Down on Anthropic With Up to $25 Billion and a Decade-Long Compute Commitment
This is not a routine funding announcement.
Amazon just invested $5 billion in Anthropic today. Up to $20 billion more coming tied to commercial milestones. That's on top of $8 billion already invested.
Total potential commitment: $33 billion. Plus Anthropic committing over $100 billion in AWS spending over the next ten years.
This is a decade-long bet on Claude becoming the backbone of enterprise AI.
What Anthropic Gets
Up to 5 gigawatts of compute capacity from Amazon's Trainium chips to train and power Claude models.
Access to Trainium2, Trainium3, Trainium4, and future generations as they release.
Tens of millions of Graviton cores for price-performance efficiency across workloads.
Significant Trainium3 capacity expected online this year.
Expanded international inference capacity in Asia and Europe for Claude's growing global user base.
What AWS Customers Get
Claude Platform now available directly inside AWS.
No separate credentials. No additional contracts. No new billing relationships.
Access Anthropic's native Claude experience through an existing AWS account using the same access controls and monitoring already in place.
Over 100,000 organizations already run Claude on Amazon Bedrock. That number is about to grow significantly.
What This Is Really About
Anthropic needs compute at a scale that only a handful of companies in the world can provide.
Amazon needs a frontier AI model that enterprises actually want to use.
Claude is the most loved AI coding tool among developers. Lyft cut customer service resolution time by 87% using Claude on Bedrock. Pfizer saved 16,000 annual search hours. The enterprise case for Claude is already proven.
This deal locks in the infrastructure to scale that proof into something much larger.
The Project Rainier Context
Amazon and Anthropic already built Project Rainier together β one of the largest AI compute clusters in the world with nearly half a million Trainium2 chips.
That cluster is already training and deploying Claude models for customers worldwide.
Today's announcement is what comes after Project Rainier. The next decade of infrastructure built specifically for frontier AI at scale.
Why This Matters
Three things are happening simultaneously that make this significant.
Anthropic is committing its entire compute future to AWS. Not splitting between providers. All in.
Amazon is making Anthropic's native experience available inside AWS with no friction. Claude becomes part of the AWS stack.
The investment signals Amazon's conviction that Claude is the enterprise AI model worth backing at this scale.
For enterprise teams on AWS: Claude just became significantly easier to access and deploy.
For the AI market: The compute arms race has a new leader pairing. Amazon infrastructure plus Anthropic models.
For developers: The most popular frontier model family on Bedrock just got a decade of guaranteed compute behind it.
What This Means
AWS developers wake up today with Claude Platform inside their existing account. No new setup. No extra contracts. Just Claude where you already work.
Enterprise teams running global workloads get expanded inference capacity in Asia and Europe. Better performance without configuration changes.
And anyone watching where enterprise AI is heading β Anthropic just picked their compute partner for the next ten years. That's not a small signal.
Over to You...
Claude just got a decade of Amazon compute behind it.
Does that change your stack?
