Manages schedules. Answers questions. Replies to out-of-office emails. Handles tasks around the clock.

Figma Integrates OpenAI's Codex

Figma announced integration with OpenAI's Codex, letting users create and tweak designs from coding environments.

Comes one week after Figma integrated Anthropic's Claude Code.

Available now for Figma users.

How It Works

Integration uses Figma's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server.

Start working with design in Figma or code in Codex. Move between platforms easily.

Previously: Users could bring details from Figma design files, Figma Make, or FigJam into Codex for code-based implementation.

Now: Bidirectional workflow. Design to code. Code to design.

What Changed

Engineers can iterate visually without leaving their flow.

Designers can work closer to real implementation without becoming full-time coders.
