Entry-level tech hiring is already down 50% since 2019.

Larry Fink at BlackRock told the Trump team we'll run out of electricians before we run out of demand.

Here's the shortage nobody planned for:

❌ 600,000 factory workers short
❌ 500,000 construction workers short
❌ 130,000 electricians needed by 2030
❌ 240,000 construction laborers needed
❌ 150,000 construction supervisors needed

Now think about what we told an entire generation...

Go to college. Take the loans. Get the degree. Sit at a desk.

I stopped putting money in my kid's 529 years ago.

People say I lost it. 😅

Here's my logic...

"Knowledge" used to be SCARCE.

That scarcity is the only reason a degree was ever worth $200,000.

AI just made knowledge free.

But AI can't pull wire...

It can't run conduit, and it can't weld a beam at 2am in the rain.

The economy is rebalancing hard toward the things AI physically CANNOT touch...

And we spent 30 years routing kids AWAY from exactly those jobs.

Both things can be true...

AI is the most transformative economic force in history.

AND the biggest opportunity it created belongs to people who work with their hands.

The buildings housing all this AI have to be built by somebody. 🏗️

If you've got a kid graduating with no plan...

Look at the trades before you sign another loan. 🫡
