Real talk: 2.8T parameters isn't running on your desktop... That needs a data center.

But free frontier-class weights change the whole game downstream... Smaller versions, cheaper hosting, more competition.

3. Those "Opus 5 leaks" everywhere... Still just rumors.

I went and checked Anthropic's actual model documentation...

Fable 5, Opus 4.8, Sonnet 5, Mythos 5. All confirmed, all listed.

The official Opus 5 listing... The end-of-month launch date... The "Honeycomb EAP is secretly Opus 5" theory...

None of it's in the docs.

Doesn't prove it's false... Proves it's still a rumor.

Build with what's shipped. Test the new thing when it's real. 🫡
